Data about law enforcement in New Mexico were obtained under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act from the New Mexico Law Enforcement Agency. The data released includes personnel and employment history for all officers certified by NMLEA's Law Enforcement Certification Board and its predecessor, with data going back to the 1960s.
