Data about law enforcement in Utah were obtained under the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act from Utah Peace Officer Standards and Training. The data were obtained in July 2024 after a public records appeal on behalf of the Utah Investigative Journalism Project. Information about disciplinary actions taken by Utah POST is compiled by the Utah Criminal Justice Institute.
